Presented at the Egyptian Respiratory Care Summit 2025 , held at Shebin el Kom on 2 Janaury, 2025.
The Egyptian College of Critical Care Physicians (ECCCP) organized in collaboration with Menofeya Medical Syndicate the inaugural edition of the Egyptian Respiratory Care Summit on 2 January, 2025 at Shebin El Kom.
Attended by more than 300 critical care specialists from Egypt, the summit hosted Dr Arzu Ari, Vice Dean for Research Texas State University, USA as the summit guest speaker. Dr Ari delivered the summit keynote lecture: Aerosol Drug Delivery in Acute Respiratory Failure: How to Do It and Why?
The summit featured as well a presentation by Professor Sherif Mokhtar, President of ECCCP titled: Critical Care Medicine in Egypt : The Past , Present & Future.

ECMO Experts Comprehensive Made Easy course took place at the Critical Care Department, Kasr Al Ainy , Cairo University from 9 till 11 November, 2023 followed by a cannulation Course on 12 November, 2023.
The three days featured lectures and skill stations delivered by the ECMO Unit of the Critical Care Department Cairo University and was directed by Professor Akram Abdel Bary, Professor of Critical Care Medicine, Cairo University
The course is an ELSO endorsed course which is required for step 1 and step 2 ELSO specialist certification .
The course was also endorsed by the Egyptian ECMO Working Group (A division of the Egyptian College of Critical care Physicians – ECCCP)
