Great Success for the Egyptian Critical Care Summit 2022

Attended by more than 400 participants , the Summit which took place at Cairo, Egypt from 29 till 31 March, 2022 witnessed lectures covering a wide array of critical care medicine topics.

The Summit hosted Dr Sandra Kane Gill President SCCM who delivered Dr Max Weil Memorial lecture and also contributed in the Clinical Pharmacy Symposium which was organized along the summit.

Several virtual faculty contributed in the scientific program including Drs; P. Verlas, Lluis Blanch, Paolo Pelosi, Alain Combes, Tamer Abdel Hak, R Ferrer, Manuel Quintana, Peter Papadakos and Federico Pappalardo

The Egyptian Critical Care Summit 2022 was organized in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Critical care Center, Cairo University which was inaugurated in March 1982 by its founder Professor Sherif Mokhtar, Professor of Cardiology and Critical care Medicine and President of the Egyptian College of Critical care Physicians (ECCCP) . The Summit was presided by Professor Alia Abdel Fattah , Professor of Critical care Medicine and chairman of the Egyptian ECMO Working Group.
