Neuro Monitoring in the ICU

Lecture presented by Dr Panayiotis Varelas ,President Neurocritical Care Society, USA,  Matthew Bender Endowed Chair, Chairman and Professor , Department of Neurology, Albany Medical Center, NY , USA.

  Dr. Varelas received his medical education at the University of Athens, after which he became an officer in the Greek Air Force, before completing a research fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, a residency in Neurology at Yale and a Neurocritical Care Fellowship at Johns Hopkins.  He previously served at Wayne State University College of Medicine as professor, and as the founder and Director of the Neurocritical Care Unit at Henry Ford Hospital.  He is  an international authority on brain death

The lecture was delivered at the Egyptian Critical Care Summit 2022 held at Cairo, Egypt ( 29-31 March 2022),  organized by the Egyptian College of Critical Care Physicians
